Jay Reatard,
So I'm a big fan of Jay's music unfourtunatly he was found dead on January 13 in his Tennessee home. So far I haven't found the cause of death and apparently it's still an open case with the local police. So hopefully all is good with his family and friends.

Today we talked about tons of remedies to combat the Winter Blues, heres the the low down
1. Health Up..... after the holiday season alot of people start going through sugar withdrawl from all those goodies and start feeling sluggish and down...so what can you do is start introducing more fruits and veggies into your diet the natural sugar will help make you feel better. Also being active helps try heading out for a walk, or going skating in your free time it will help get your energy back up.
2. Sunshine- In winter one of the things I find most depressing is the lack of sun! if you feel the same as me try open blinds and curtains during the day, sit on the window side of the bus AND try heading outside for a few minutes during your lunch/coffee breaks. Another sun related problem is you might not be getting enough vitamin D try a supplement.
3. Colours- consider introducing orange or green to your world its been proven that after been exposed to these colours you'll feel more happy and calm. Michelle and I tried out looking at orange for thirty seconds in studio...it seemed to make us happier
4. Pamper yourself- after a hectic holiday season its good to take a few minutes for yourself to relax and regroup, try meditation too its a good way to center yourself. Fun fact flame from a candle or fireplace has a calming effect on people so try getting your favorite scent in a candle not only will you enjoy the scent BUT be relaxed by looking at the flame (be safe though dont leave the candle lit while your out of the house)
5. ORGANIZE! this is something that is good all year round but because its the start of a new year its extra handy to figure everything out...try re-arranging a room at home.
6. Find something about winter you enjoy try skiing, snowboarding, or other outdoor activities, this web site has seven games for winter
